Did you know the story about the Javanese south sea and its legend?

It's about the legendary nyai roro kidul who lives under the south sea and its influence to people in the environment. Well,I will tell you how it begins.
One time, there lived a Padjajaran King named Prabu Siliwangi, he had a wife, Queen Mayangsari and a daughter, Princess Dewi Kadita. Beside of them, The King had others wives, and they called mistresses.
Among the mistresses, King's wife Queen Mayangsari and her daughter were the most beautiful so others were very jealous of them.

One day, the mistresses used a black magic to cursed Dewi Kadita and her mother, they became ugly and dirty so The King's could not recognize them anymore and soon moved them away from the castle.
Dewi Kadita's live and her mother change after cursed. They wandered in the forest. Unfortunately, because of ages, The Queen Mayangsari did not survive, and she died.
Dewi Kadita was so confused and very upset, ever since she always cries, until one day she fell asleep. On her sleep, she was dreaming, that she saw herself jumping into the water and manage to broke the cursed. When she woke up, she jumped into the sea as soon as she dreamt before, and like the dream to be, she was free from the cursed and she was also turned into a very beautiful lady, even more beautiful than she was before the cursed. And as the beautiful as increased, she was realized that she was no longer human, but she turned into Goddes.
And yet, Dewi Kadita became a powerful Goddes. She rules all creatures on the southern coast of Java Island and she known as Kanjeng Ratu Kidul, Javanese for the queen of the southern sea or Nyai Roro Kidul. Feel so powerful she wanted to get even with her Father, then, she became th primary bride of Mataram King's, the rival of Padjajaran. People said that she traps every male who worn green as they walking along the shore, they swallowed by the waves, either was missing or dead. Until now, people still believe that they have become her guards or companions.
